How we protect your privacy
No name, email, or phone
You're identified only by an opaque anon_id. Layers 1–2 need zero personal data to work.
Counselor booking is blind
College admin sees only your anonymous ID + time slot. No link to your student record, faculty, or family.
Your data stays on device
In this demo, all check-in state lives in your browser's localStorage. Nothing leaves the device.
Logs expire
Production conversation logs are hashed and auto-deleted after a short TTL — we keep what helps, not what hunts.
Identities revealed by you
Peer/counselor identities are shown only with mutual consent. You control when to step into the light.
Transit + rest
TLS in transit, column-level encryption at rest for any linkage data in the production build.
The trust promise
We designed Vistaraz so the safest thing to do is also the easiest: open the app, check in, get routed — all without ever "outing" yourself to an institution. Help scales only as far as trust allows, so we put trust first.
